Floridienne group is an industrial participation holding, quoted on the Brussels Stock Exchange, whose history dates back to the late 19th century. The corporate name recalls the geographic origin of its business activities.
Floridienne is focusing on market niches in fine non-ferrous metals chemistry (production of salts of non-ferrous metals from metals residues) and food (snails, delicatessen salads, seafood terrines, scallops, salmon and truffles).
Besides these two main activities, Floridienne, through its subsidiary Florinvest, takes limited risk positions in the chemical, biotechnological and food-processing fields, relating essentially to the other activities of the group.
